As an educator of 26 years I have seen my share of bullying. I have stopped boys from dunking a fellow students head in the toilet and reported boys from whispering to a 12yo girl that they were going to rape her. It goes on daily and we try with all our might to stop it. Do we catch it all? No way! We need help! The help of others to report it when we can't be everywhere. Tomorrow is Pink Shirt Day in Second Life and we are trying to raise awareness that its OK to speak up and stand up against bullies. I hope you can and will do your part.

April 14th is SL's first official Pink Shirt Day. Pink Shirt Day is a smaller movement that began in Canada when a boy was bullied for wearing a pink shirt to school. Tomorrow we join together against bullying, and we do so under the banner of Pink Shirt Day. I've created a gift to help raise awareness and spread information about bullying - you can pick it up at the main shop just inside the doorway.
